Global Play Day 2!

Good afternoon!

Last Friday the 22nd of February the Batten team had another Global Play Day. Rose my friend and her best friend Eilish bought there dolls, Molly brought some knitting stuff, Molly, Lexie and I made clothes for Rose and Eilish's dolls. I made a dress, Molly made a school uniform and Lexie made a shirt.  Molly quickly made a jersey at the end. It was super fun. I also played a game that Rose bought, but I forgot the name of it.

Science in a van!

Hello everyone!

Welcome back to my blog. On wednesday ( yesterday) Science in a van came to our school.
They taught us about forces and motion. The juniors watched it with the school and after the hillary hub and the batten team (which i'm in)  learnt about stuff with them after morning tea. They got a rubber chicken (called Dave) connected him to a small L&P bottle that was connected to a bike pump. The man Ellen and Sam my friend pumped the pump till there was enough pressure for the chicken (Dave) connected to the L&P bottle to go exploding up a string. Oh and don't worry (Dave) isn't a real chicken if you were wondering.

Global Play Day!

Hello everyone!

Last week on Friday we did global play day. Global play day is a day when you play non electronic games with your friends. You can make forts and stuff. I played top trumps with my best friend Lola.
Then I played Zingo (bingo with a zing) with my friends Lola, Lexie, Eilish, Rose, Julia, Finn and even a teacher Mr Grant! It was a really exciting time from morning tea till lunch. We are doing it again this week, I can't wait. Some people left there cardboard boxes from the forts for next time in three days.
